Biography Tadashi Matsuda

Dr Matsuda has been the Professor and Chairman of the Department of Urology and Andrology, Kansai Medical University, Osaka, since 1995. He completed medical degree and urological residency at Kyoto University, School of Medicine.

Dr. Matsuda is the Vice President and the Secretary General of the Japanese Society of Endourology and ESWL, and also is the head of the Committee of the Endoscopic Surgical Skill Qualification System in Urological Laparoscopy, which has been established in the Japanese Urological Association and the Japanese Society of Endourology and ESWL.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Endourological Society. He will be the Congress President of World Congress of Endourology and SWL in 2011 at Kyoto. He is a member of the Council Committee of the East Asian Society of Endourology.

Dr. Matsuda started urological laparoscopy in 1990 and have more than 800 experiences of urologic laparoscopic surgeries.

He is author of over 200 peer reviewed publications and is the editor of books in the fields of urological laparoscopy and male infertility. Dr. Matsuda is also a member of the American Urological Association, the Société International d’Urologie, and the International Society for the Study of Aging Male.
